Transportation

Lesvos Island can be reached easily by either airplane or ferry. Frequent direct flights are scheduled from the cities of Athens and Thessaloniki as well as from the islands of Chios, Crete, Limnos, Rhodes and Samos.

Also, direct charter flights are available from Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Holland, Sweden and the United Kingdom. The Mytilene International Airport “Odysseas Elytis” is 7km from the center of Mytilini town and 60 km from the villas.

There are daily ferries scheduled from Piraeus Port to Lesvos Island and back. Roundtrip ferries are also available from Lesvos to Kavala and the islands of Chios, Ikaria, Limnos, Rhodes, Samos and Tinos. During the summer months, there are daily roundtrip ferries from Lesvos to Ayvalik Port in Turkey.
